Lifecraft continues to be at the forefront of getting service users involved in consultations with the statutory health services and delivering their views on the current and future development of mental health services in Cambridgeshire.

Through the South Cambridgeshire User Forum (SCUF) funded by Comic Relief, Lifecraft is working alongside other organisations from both the voluntary and statutory sectors to ensure that the views of service users are heard. This work is of fundamental importance to Lifecraft and directly supports our primary objective to help our members and other mental health service users to take greater control over how their care is provided.

Lifecraft has been actively involved in World Mental Health Day events and continues to monitor the perception of mental health in the press and developments within the Cambridgeshire NHS Primary Care Trusts regarding the delivery and development of mental health services.
