Established in 1993 Lifecraft provides unique user led mental health services and is committed to self help for better mental health. We are now looking to recruit new staff to extend our range of services and increase our membership.

 
 


Lifecraft Manager £27,594 + 5% pension contribution

Full time (37.5 hours) – 2 years fixed term appointment

Our new Manager will work closely with our Members and Trustees to lead us through the next phase of our development.  A commitment to good governance and strong project management skills are essential.

The successful candidate will be a good networker, a successful fundraiser and have an appreciation of the issues faced by people who experience mental illness.  A background in social care or mental health together with an understanding of how to involve users in the development of services is essential.


Activities Coordinator £22,845 (Pro rata) + 5% pension contribution
24 hours per week – 1 year fixed term appointment

Leading on the launch of our new Saturday service and the development of our group based activities, the post holder will encourage and support member feedback and involvement.  Good planning and organisational skills and an innovative approach to meeting our members’ expectations are essential.

Team leadership experience in social care or mental health and partnership working are also important.

 

Saturday Support Workers £20,099 (Pro rata) + 5% pension contribution
2 posts - 6 hours per week each – 1 year fixed term appointments

These workers will be providing our new Saturday service which is a significant new venture for Lifecraft.  You must have experience of working with adults with mental health issues and be able to promote the new services to interested groups and individuals who may benefit from working with Lifecraft.  Energy, enthusiasm and creativity are key to this role.
