You may remember that Lifecraft coordinated the running of ‘The big 1 in 4 Bus’ campaign to celebrate World mental Health Day last year. This year, we will be coordinating the project again and hope it to be an even bigger success!
World mental health day is celebrated annually on October 10th and is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. The day is an excellent opportunity for organisations to draw attention to the work they do, and to mental health issues in general.
The Bus will be stopping in Huntingdon town centre outside Sainsbury’s between 10.30am and 2pm on Wednesday 8th October and in Cambridge city centre outside Boots between 10am and 2.30pm on Friday 10th October. The campaign will also be running from the website www.1in4.org.uk
There are also lots of opportunities for volunteer involvement. We need volunteers to help with:
Research and publicity work
General administration
Setting up and manning the bus
If you are interested in getting involved or volunteering please contact: Amanda Price, Lifecraft Campaigns Officer on (01223) 566957 or email:amanda@lifecraft.org.uk
